I
called my first race at Bowie Race Course in 1985. The winner was a horse
named Tiara’s Flame. She was trained by King Leatherbury and ridden by Alberto Delgado.
My

One
of my pet peeves is when horses race without their proper owner’s colors
and use “house” silks. It not
only makes things harder for me, but it also takes away from one of
racing’s greatest traditions. |

father installed and operated the sound
system at Timonium Racetrack in
Maryland, and I worked summers for him.
I felt in love with racing and knew I wanted to be
involved in it in some way. | ||
